WOMEN'S HOCKEY

An experienced hockey coach organizes instruction and scrimmaging for skill development, exercise, and competition. Home and away games with other towns will be played. Full hockey equipment is required. Players receive a reversible Weston hockey jersey. The number of participants is limited.  Please note:  Women's Hockey will skate at the Boch Ice Center in Dedham (1105 East Street) this year.

Tuesdays 9:30-10:30am: 10/6/09, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27, 11/3, 11/10, 11/17, 11/24, 12/1, 12/8, 12/15, 12/22, 1/5/10, 1/12, 1/19, 1/26, 2/2, 2/9, 2/23, 3/2, 3/9, 3/16, 3/23, 3/30

Cost

The initial fee for the season for Women's Hockey is $450 for 1 day of skating per week or $600 for 2 days of skating per week ($490 or $640 for non-Weston residents and non-Weston Town employees).  There will be an additional charge for the services of a coach, which will be determined by the number of women playing.  Membership in the Weston Skating Club is required for Weston residents and Town employees to participate in this program.  This program is open to Weston residents, town employees and their immediate families, and, to the extent there are available spaces, to non-residents.

Come join the fun for another season of excitement! Thanks to the enthusiasm of the women players, many of whom were beginners, last winter’s season was a huge success. Plans include scheduling some games against other women’s teams. New members, of any skill level, are encouraged. Players supply their own equipment but will receive Weston jerseys.
